    • W’salaam Nasr! If I hear from anyone, I’ll let them know about Mr. Nasr Nance. The pics you’re referring to are from the Hagia Sophia, which used to be an Orthodox cathedral when Istanbul was named Constantinople under the control of the Byzantines. Then Constantinople was conquered by the Ottoman Turks under Sultan Mehmed II, and the Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque and the images were covered up. Then when the Turkish Republic was created in 1935, it was converted into a museum and the images were uncovered.
